My passion and business is creating images that make people want to go places. It may be a small café, city, country or a cruise to many places.
The objective of every image is to ignite emotions. One really cool part of that is, I feel it first, and that is special. The French call it “joie de la vie.”
Travel is a large part of what I do, but it is not about frequent flyer miles or adding to the list of countries, it is about experiencing the cultures of the world. One thread that runs through the experience is the proof of how alike people are whether they live in a bamboo house in Laos or a luxury apartment in Manhattan. That makes me wish everyone could travel, and for those who can’t, hope that my images convey as much about our commonality as our differences.
One of my great privileges is sharing with other photographers. I get to speak to photo clubs, schools, and conduct workshops and tours with those who are also excited by photography and travel.
I have served as an officer and director of an ASMP chapter and currently serve as an officer and director of Orlando Camera Club.
In all, I get to be a photographer.
